Preparation before assignment
These are the personnel and care standards required by Premier’s policies.
Applicants provide their experience and availability for review, followed by an interview to discuss qualifications, responsibilities, and potential assignments.
Caregivers must complete the required criminal-record review and sworn-disclosure documentation as part of personnel clearance.
Qualification evidence is reviewed and documented. Employment, references, and professional credentials are verified where applicable to the role.
Agency orientation covers client rights, confidentiality, reporting concerns, infection prevention, emergencies, documentation, and professional boundaries.
Required job-specific training and competency checks must be completed for assigned tasks. A certificate alone does not qualify a caregiver for every task.
Personal care is provided under registered nurse supervision, with care-plan review and follow-up on changes in needs or performance.
Premier’s personnel policies require qualification verification, screening clearance, orientation, and task-specific competency before a caregiver works independently. Assignments must fit the caregiver’s abilities and the client’s care plan.
